Physics PhD · Northwestern University
I am a second-year Physics PhD student at Northwestern University, working with Prof. Michelle Driscoll on shear-thickening phenomena and soft condensed matter. Before Northwestern, I worked with Dr. Paul Territo at the Stark Neurosciences Research Institute in the Indiana University School of Medicine. Earlier, I studied physics and neuroscience at Earlham College.
Research Interests
Shear Thickening
Mechanisms behind discontinuous shear thickening in dense suspensions under applied stress.
Soft Matter
Complex mechanical behavior of colloidal systems, gels, and non-Newtonian fluids.
Dense Suspensions
Rheology and microstructure of particle-laden flows near the jamming transition.
